Homeopathy for Children How to take and store Homeopathy remedies The child should avoid putting anything in his/her mouth ten minutes before or after taking the homeopathic remedy. Let the remedy dissolve on or under the tongue naturally. Tablets or granules should not be touched, but poured into the cap of the bottle and put directly into the mouth. It is suggested that 10-12 drops of the remedy may be poured in a small glass bottle containing granules (available at any homeopathic shop) and made ready for use. One dose of a remedy normally consists of 4-5 small white pills or granules (with the remedy added). These granules are normally made of sugar, so diabetics should avoid the granules and take the remedy (one drop) mixed, in a little water. Remedies should always be stored in original containers away from bright light, heat and strong smells.
